THE GARMENTS MANUFACTURER AND WHOLWSALERS ASSOCIATION, Hyderabad was established in 1998. “GMWA” is a state level apex Body of Garment industry and trade, devoted to the causes of development of Garments industry in TELANGANA STATE & ANDHRA PRADESH. The association on its roll has Members from both States. Formation of this Association has given a platform to Garment Manufacturers, Distributor, Wholesalers and Agents to come together under one banner.

1. To promote and protect the interests of Garment industries and Trade in Telangana State & Andhra Pradesh.
2. To promote and maintain high standard of professional conduct and to prevent Abuses of Malpractice in the trade.
3. To promote and develop co-operation among members and associations connected with Ready-made Trade& Industry in Telangana& Andhra Pradesh.
4. To create and encourage friendly feeling in the Ready-made dealer’s community and relative Associations on all subject connected with the common welfare of the Ready-made Trade & Industry.
5. To take necessary steps in promoting, supporting or opposing legislation affecting the interests of Garment Industry and trade with the Government or any other local & state bodies. To take the initiative to secure the Welfare of the Garment Business Community in all respects.

Our Association is affiliated of FAPCCI, FICCI,CMAI and other trade organizations. District level Ready-made Garments Associations are affiliated to our association. The members of these associations are benefitted from our service through their regional associations.

The Managing Committee consists of the President, Vice-President, General Secretary, Treasurer and Joint-Secretary. A working committee of six members guide the proceedings of the Association.

The Association holds Conferences, Seminars and Meeting for the Benefit of Members on latest development in the field of Economy, industry, Taxation and other procedures and regulation from time to time. The association invites to dignitaries and senior officials of the State and Central Government of address and interact with imembers on various issue effecting Garment trade and Industry. Representation in made to the authorities seeking gainful solutions to the problems faced by trade & Industry.

GMWA has been organizing Garment Fairs for the last 24 years. All Fairs have been well received by participants and visitors. This is the Largest Garment Fair in South India in which manufacturers from all over India viz. Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkatta, Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Bellary, Ludhiana, Telangana State and Andhra Pradesh showcase their products for the festive seasons.
